‘How to Become a Successful Eco-School’ 2019 – 2020 Training Dates
Make a Difference
Eco-Schools England are delighted to announce our training dates for the 2019-2020 Academic year. Our ‘How to Become a Successful Eco-School’ courses are open to all staff working in any type of school or nursery including teachers, teaching assistants, bursars and senior leaders.
Our training sessions are delivered by an experienced teacher and each course is being held in one of RSPB’s stunning nature reserves. Throughout the day, teachers will be given practical advice on:
- Beginning (or reinvigorating) the Eco-Schools journey
- The aims and benefits of the Eco-Schools programme
- Working through the Eco-Schools Seven Step Framework to achieve Green Flag Success
- Project ideas for each of the ten Eco-Schools topics
- How to complete the Green Flag application and what to expect during a Green Flag assessment visit
During the day a representative of RSPB will also be talking about their educational campaigns and visiting RSPB sites with your school. Each attendee will leave the course with plenty of ideas and the confidence to make a difference and achieve an Eco-Schools Green Flag award for their school. Below are our dates and locations:
