Healthy Living #EcoSchoolsAtHome
Welcome back to a new term with new ideas for #EcoSchoolsAtHome starting with Healthy Living. If you took a break over Easter, don’t worry, our Energy and Global Citizenship resources are still free to download here.
As there are so many amazing exercise and healthy eating resources currently available online, we decided to focus our actions on a healthy and happy mind and planet. As we do each week, we have set different tasks based on age and education level, however, we would really like to encourage our ‘grown up’ followers to join in with some of the actions carried out by their pupils and children. There are no age limits this week for Healthy Living #EcoSchoolsAtHome! We are often asked why as an ‘eco’ charity we promote a healthy lifestyle and how it links to the environment – very simply healthy bodies and healthy minds can help lead to a healthy ecosystem.
None of us have experienced the situation we find ourselves in as a nation – individually we are dealing with some of the most stressful and upsetting times we may have ever experienced – we hope that that the #EcoSchoolsAtHome actions this week allow you, your family and pupils to take some time away from the current situation (even if only for a few moments each day).
We will get through this and we will continue to have a positive impact on our environment!
Take care of yourselves everyone,
Lee, Francis, Karyn and Shona.
