Green Flag assessor honoured in New Years list

We are delighted to announce one of our longest-serving volunteer Eco-Schools assessors has been honoured in the New Year honours list. Rosalind Taylor has received a British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to education.

After a 42 year teaching career, since retiring ten years ago, Ros has been assessing schools for their Green Flag Awards. Over the past decade she has helped almost 200 schools to achieve the coveted award.

Huge congratulations to Rosalind Taylor BEM from everyone at Eco-Schools and Keep Britain Tidy.

Without volunteers like Ros, we couldn’t run the Eco-Schools programme. If you would be interested in becoming a volunteer assessor, you can find out more here.
